I am a former kindergarten teacher and mother of two sons and a daughter. I am a co-founder of Coco Cafe and Catering (cococafe.ca). It is a neighbourhood cafe and social enterprise operating in Cedar, BC. The cafe was created to provide employment and socialization opportunities for persons with differing abilities. My daughter Carolyn, who has Down Syndrome, is an employee at the cafe.

As a young child my interest in reading was sparked by humorous, rhyming stories. I continued to enjoy reading them both as a parent and a teacher.

I have written four other stories all centred around 7 year old Lily, her neighbourhood and all the critters and fairies that live in her favourite fir tree in the park.
